It appears Obama decided to decline the presidency and instead start a chain of fried chicken fast foods.
Although, we are not sure about the "peoples" reaction yet, we do speculate that Obama Fried Chicken ( OFC ) will be delicious.

As you can see, the patriotic/bringing people together aspect of Obama will be maintained.
KFC beware, Bojangles also.
